Race Package Pickup

You must pick up your race package at the Health and Wellness Expo. Bring your friends and family members with you as there will be plenty to see and admission is FREE!
Friday, May 27, 2011 4-8 p.m.
Saturday, May 28, 2011 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Max Bell Centre, 1001, Barlow Trail S.E.
*Printed confirmation or picture ID is required for package pick-up.
**If you cannot make it to pick up your package, you can have a friend or family member pick it up on your behalf with your printed confirmation.

Transportation/Parking

There will be NO parking for participants in Bridgeland on race day. Please plan to take public transit. The Bridgeland/Memorial C-train station is 300m from the race start area.

Road Closures

Allow yourself ample time to make it to the start area of the race. Please check the Cloures section of our website for important road closure information.

Race Number & ChampionChip

All participants will receive a race bib and timing chip at registration. Your bib must be pinned (unmodified and fully visible) to the front of your shirt and displayed throughout the entire race. Participants without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be timed or receive a finishing medal. All participants much attach the chip to their shoelace and without the chip you will not be timed or appear in the results.

Water and Aid Stations

THE Downtown Sports Clinics 10K has two water stations on course.
Centaur Subaru Half Marathon has 6 water stations located on course, approximately every 3km.
The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon has 14 water stations located on course, approximately every 3km.

GU is the official on course energy drink and gel supplier of the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon and can be purchased at Strides Running Store and at the Expo.

Strides Pace Team

Strides Running Store will provide pacers for the Marathon and Half-Marathon and will be identified by bright yellow shirts and will be hold a sign with their pace time. At the race start, line up near your pacer. See specific race information for pace groups.

Canadian Elite Athlete Program

The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is a proud supporter of local, up and coming talent and has an Elite Athlete program available to assist with some of the travel and registration costs for elite athletes. If you would like to apply to the elite athlete program, please email info@calgarymarathon.com with your request and a brief resume of your race accomplishments.
