Canadian Only Prize Money:

The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon supports local athletes and is pleased to offer Canadian only prize money in addition to our regular prize money.

Scotiabank Calgary Marathon, Centaur Subaru Half-Marathon, THE Downtown Sports Clinics 10K, overall fastest Canadian male and female:

• 1st $500.00
• 2nd $300.00
• 3rd $200.00

Proof of Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status is necessary to qualify for these prizes. A top three Canadian athlete who also places top five overall is eligible to receive both the Canadian prize and the overall prize.

Course Record Bonus:

A $500.00 prize will be offered to the top male and female who breaks the course record in the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon, Centaur Subaru Half Marathon and THE Downtown Sports Clinic 10K by the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon.

Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female runners in the following age categories: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

THE Downtown Sports Clinics 10K and AstraZeneca 5k Family Walk or Run:

Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female runners in the following age categories:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

All finishers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.
All finishers will be able to download a certificate of completion from our web site.
