Choose to participate in our race and forgo receiving a race shirt and finisher medal, focusing instead on the journey to the start line, community spirit and race day experience. If a participant chooses the Green Bib option, a $10 donation will be made to the Great Divide Trail Association, in lieu of a race shirt and medal -  you will still receive a chipped bib to track your time on race day. The Great Divide Trail Association is a local charity dedicated to maintaining, protecting and promoting the Great Divide Trail which is a 1095 km trail in the Canadian Rockies that divides Alberta and British Columbia.

We are making steps towards a more sustainable event and asking athletes to be a part of that journey should they choose to opt in. The Green Bib is another choice you can make to customize your race day experience to fit your needs and goals.

Please note: The Green Bib Program does not apply to the Kids Race or Diaper Dash! All kids participating in these two events will receive both a shirt (or baby bib for Diaper Dash participants) AND medal.
