The Cochrane & Area Humane Society is an open door animal shelter. Because we turn no animal away, sometimes animals arrive at our shelter in poor physical condition or with serious behaviour issues. Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we are able to provide extensive medical care and behavioural rehabilitation to animals in our care.
