Whether you know this city or not, the Calgary Marathon route will make you blush with its beauty and smile because of the western hospitality by an army of volunteers. Whether it's your first marathon or your 60th, when you run Canada's Marathon on May 24, it will quick become a fan favourite. Just ask our fans! Voted Alberta's Best Road Race in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010 and 2009.

Calgary 42.2KM Marathon Overview
The Servus Calgary Marathon is the top marathon in Alberta. The course is certified by Athletics Alberta and Athletics Canada and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. For more information on qualifying for Boston, check out the BAA's website here.
This certification ensures accuracy and credibility for the course, allowing athletes to record a certified result that can be used for records and rankings.
The marathon course is also a qualifier for AbbottWMM MTT. The AbbottWMM MTT World Rankings comprise of over 350 qualifying races (including Calgary!). For more information on the scoring system and world rankings, check out the AbbottWMM MTT website.

Start Line: 11 Ave SE, just north of the Sam Centre
Finish Line: Enmax Park
Course Time Limit: 6:30 total (H:MM)
Age: 16+
Children under the age minimum are only permitted if pushed in a stroller. Children in strollers must remain in their stroller for the entire duration of the race. Please note that children under the age minimums will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line.
