GETTING YOUR FAMILY TO THE START LINE
In an effort to improve the affordability and accessibility of the Servus Calgary Marathon, we have introduced a reduced flat rate pricing for all youth 18 and under, for any distance.
Youth 12 & Under - $20 ($24.68 with fees, GST not included)
Youth 13-18 - $30 ($35.45 with fees, GST not included)
Automatically applied during checkout for all distances.
These rates will be automatically applied during checkout for all distances (42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km) and is by default already in effect for the Kids Race and Diaper Dash.
Strollers are permitted on the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km and MUST start at the front of the last corral (purple) at the start line. Strollers are prohibited in the Kids Race. Wagons are not permitted in any distance for safety reasons.
Any children under the age minimums (see drop down section titled "Age Restrictions") for the 10 km, 21.1 km or 42.2 km are only permitted if pushed in a stroller. Please note that children under the age minimums will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line. Children in strollers must remain in their stroller for the entire duration of the race.
All participants in each race must be registered, with the exception of children that will be in strollers for the entire duration of the race. Please note that children in strollers without a bib will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line.
For kids that want to participate in both the Kids Race and the 5 km event (not in a stroller), registration for both events is required; however, our discounted youth pricing will still apply to both events.
We ask that any kids joining parents/guardians who are not registered (i.e. will be in a stroller for the duration of the event), please refrain from taking a medal and other amenities at the finish line.
- Flair 5 km: There is no minimum age to participate in the 5 km race. All participants in the 5 km race must be registered, with the exception of children that will be in strollers for the entire duration of the race. Please note that children without a 5 km bib will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line.
- ASICS Runkeeper 10 km: You must be 10 years of age or older on race day to be eligible to participate. Strollers are permitted for children below age minimum.
- Centaur Subaru 21.1 km: You must be 14 years of age or older on race day to be eligible to participate. Strollers are permitted for children below age minimum.
- Servus Calgary Marathon 42.2 km: You must be 16 years of age or older on race day to be eligible to participate. Strollers are permitted for children below age minimum.
- Parents/guardians are urged to ensure that young runners have the training and pace judgment needed to complete the event comfortably and safely. Servus Calgary Marathon Race Directors and staff reserve the right to require proof of age.
- Any children under the age minimums for the 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km are only permitted if pushed in a stroller. Children in strollers must remain in their stroller for the entire duration of the race. Please note that children under the age minimums will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line.
- Children interested in receiving a medal and shirt can sign up for the Kids Race which is open to those ages 2-12.
- Please contact the office at info@calgarymarathon.com if you are underage and have permission from your parents/guardians to participate.
Youth shirt sizes are available for the 5 km race (YS, YM and YL).
Youth AND toddler shirt sizes are available for the Kids Race (4T, 6T, 8T, YS, YM, and YL).

Four (4) Infant Feeding Stations will be available on race day.
- Two (2) stations will be located on-course; one (1) station will be located near the Servus Calgary Marathon start line and one (1) feeding station in finish area. These stations will be freely accessible to any participants, volunteers or attendees who require a private space to breastfeed, pump, or bottle-feed.
- The two (2) on-course stations will service the half marathon and full marathon events, and will be located by the 10 km aid station, and last km aid station. The 5km will also have the opportunity to use one feeding station near the 2.5km turn around point.

- Pregnant or postpartum individuals have the option to defer their registration to the following year. Participants interested in this can complete a deferral form linked here.
- Requests made after 2pm on Friday May 22, 2026 for the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon will not be accepted.
- Deferrals are accepted pending a review from the Run Calgary office. You can expect a response within 5-10 business days. If your deferral request is accepted, your registration will be deactivated and you will receive a promo code that can be used to register for your race at the next Servus Calgary Marathon.
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, kids can stop by the Sport Calgary Kids Zone in our Post-Race Finish Festival in Enmax Park.
Sport Calgary Kids Zone Highlights:
- This area will be free to use.
- It will have a variety of interactive activities and sports that kids can engage with, such as soccer, kendo, biathlon, & more!

- Get started by heading to the event registration page HERE!
- You can register your whole family in one transaction by selecting “Add Another Registrant” at the bottom of the registration page. Repeat as needed for all family members.

- All participants in each race must be registered, with the exception of children that will be in strollers for the entire duration of the race. Please note that children in strollers without a bib will not receive a shirt, medal or any amenities at the finish line.
- For kids that want to participate in both the Kids Race and the 5 km event (not in a stroller), registration for both events is required; however, our discounted youth pricing will still apply to both events.
