Your Team. Your Momentum. Your Year.

We’re excited to officially launch the 2026 Servus Calgary Marathon Corporate Team Challenge! The challenge is designed to bring workplaces together, inspire connection, and kickstart a culture of wellness that lasts far beyond race day.

As we head into the holiday season, many employees are already thinking about their 2026 wellness goals. The Corporate Team Challenge supports these goals while helping employers strengthen engagement, boost morale, and champion a healthier, more connected workforce.

Why Companies Participate: The Value for Your Team

The Servus Calgary Marathon Corporate Team Challenge continues to grow because workplaces are seeing real results, both culturally and performance-wise. Here’s why organizations of all sizes choose to get involved:

1. Strengthen team culture (without another meeting).
Shared goals bring people together in ways that boardrooms can’t. When colleagues train, encourage each other, and celebrate milestones as a team, it builds belonging and camaraderie.

2. Support employee wellness in a way that feels inclusive.
With multiple race distances and training support, the Corporate Team Challenge meets employees wherever they’re starting. Whether it’s experienced runners, first-timers, or those simply looking for a reason to get moving.

3. Boost morale and motivation.
Momentum matters. Participating in a community-driven event sparks positive habits that carry into daily life which will result in more energy, reduced stress, and a genuine sense of accomplishment.

4. A cost-effective way to engage your workforce.
There’s no fee to create a corporate team. Many organizations choose to cover the individual race entry fees as part of their employee-experience or wellness strategies. Preferred pricing is extended to all companies that are covering 100% of the registration fees for their employees.

New for 2026

This year, we’re excited to introduce two new elements designed to inspire engagement and bring teams together in an even bigger way.

Corporate Team Challenge Leaderboard

For the first time, we’ll be recognizing participation and engagement across two categories: company size, small (1-99), medium (100-499), and large (500+) businesses, and by industry (ie. airline, financial institutions, tech etc.). The weekly leaderboards featured on Run Calgary’s LinkedIn will spotlight organizations leading the way in building healthier workplaces and spark friendly competition throughout the season.

Corporate Team Challenge Celebration Day

We’re thrilled to announce Saturday, May 23rd as our official Corporate Team Challenge Celebration Day. This will be the moment for employees to come together on race weekend. Cheer on your coworkers, celebrate team accomplishments, and join us post-race for our awards ceremony. It’s a vibrant, energizing atmosphere that brings the program to life and gives teams a chance to share in the excitement together.

Why Launch Now? Because Your Employees Are Ready

Even with the holidays approaching, this is the perfect moment to start the conversation. Year-end naturally brings reflection. More movement, more connection, more time outdoors, more confidence. Registering a team now gives employees something inspiring to look forward to in 2026.
